Remove Image Metadata (EXIF) for Free
Protect your privacy by removing embedded EXIF metadata from images before sharing them online. Browser re-encoding through HTML5 Canvas strips camera details, GPS coordinates, timestamps, and ICC colour profiles.
Important: this tool re-encodes images through Canvas, which effectively discards standard EXIF and ICC metadata. However, XMP or IPTC metadata embedded in complex file containers may not be fully removed by browser re-encoding alone.
100% Client-Side Processing & Privacy Guarantee
All processing takes place strictly inside your client browser using WebAssembly, Canvas, and Web Workers. Your files, documents, and data never leave your device and are never sent to external servers.
